- Configuring, designing, evaluating, and integrating information security technology solutions
- Maintaining the health of the firm's security systems and applications
- Developing technical solutions and new security tools to mitigate vulnerabilities and automate tasks
- Building strong relationships with vendor partners for support
- Reviewing system logs to identify anomalies and non-compliance with security policies
- Analyzing and implementing security measures for firm computing resources
- Administering security evaluation and vulnerability scans
- Providing analysis and recommendations for user endpoint security
- Collaborating with IT and user departments to enhance information security
- Responding to security events and incidents
- Communicating proposed policies and security changes to management
- Developing detailed technical recommendations and documenting configuration changes
- Mentoring and advising other staff members on security matters
- Participating in training programs for staff and firm audiences
- Communicating with information security management on all activities
- Making recommendations for systems related to security
