This role will be responsible for advising on complex and novel privacy legal issues that affect products across **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of global privacy laws, as well as a passion for new technology.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $226,000/year to $304,000/year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. The individual compensation for this role will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and drive global company strategy and execution of scalable solutions on key privacy topics
- Work closely with product and privacy counsel and Product Compliance & Privacy teams, as well as other legal, product, engineering, policy, operations, and business teams
- Advise on evolving global privacy legal requirements, and facilitate a consistent and sustainable approach to complex and novel privacy issues across the company
- Maintain subject matter expertise in key privacy areas and evaluate impact of relevant global legal requirements, regulatory guidance, and enforcement actions
- Develop resources and tools that enable counsel across the company to provide durable and consistent advice on privacy issues

Requirements:

- . degree (or foreign equivalent) and membership in at least one US state bar
- 10+ years of legal experience, including at a law firm and/or in-house experience
- Demonstrated expertise advising on global privacy laws, regulations, and industry guidelines, especially those relevant for social media, ad tech and internet companies
- Proven legal analysis, communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working cross-functionally to advance projects in a multi-stakeholder environment
- Experience prioritizing work and providing advice under challenging deadlines
- Demonstrated interest and experience in understanding technology and innovations
