Legal Business Associate Manager- Legal Entity Management (Tax Legal Business Services)
Position Summary:
- This position is for a Legal Business Associate Manager at Deloitte's Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, specifically in the Legal Business Services (LBS) team.
- The role involves managing corporate governance, legal entity simplification, and reviewing governance structures for clients.
- The position is available in 9 different locations across the United States, including Austin, Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, San Diego, San Jose, and Washington, DC.
Responsibilities:
- Enable clients' annual governance process, with a focus on US compliance.
- Review governance structures, assess corporate documents, and manage corporate data.
- Work with Deloitte Partners, Staff, and Associates on Legal Entity Management (LEM) projects and engagements.
- Identify and pursue continuous service improvements through technology and process enhancements.
- Structure, run, and play an execution role in the delivery of Legal Entity Management operate services in the United States.
- Develop eminence and thought leadership materials in the field of Legal Entity Management and legal innovation.
- Monitor the performance of LEM engagement delivery teams.
- Advise on proposals.
- Advise, plan, and prepare for Board of Directors' and stockholders' meetings.
- Assist with formation, maintenance, and dissolution of legal entities.
- Maintain legal entity records and evaluate and remediate records as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work within a hybrid work model that requires in-person collaboration 2-3 days per week.
- Ability to travel up to 50% based on the work and clients served.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in legal entity management, corporate legal secretarial work, or alternative legal services.
- Knowledge and experience with entity management lifecycle and databases.
- Experience with legal technology and its application in the legal entity management or contract lifecycle management fields.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other technology skills.
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, PMP, CCM, CFA, PMI-ACP, CCMP, CBAP, procurement/legal procurement, or SAS® Certified Data Scientist.
- Preferred: Attorney barred in a US jurisdiction, experience in legal entity management in the financial services industry, Lean Six-Sigma or PMP certification.
Salary and Benefits:
- The wage range for this role is estimated to be $122,430 to $259,200, taking into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications.
