Law Firm Seeks Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 Years of Experience
Responsibilities:
- Conduct conflict of interest search requests and handle matter intake
- Analyze conflicts reports and make recommendations
- Communicate conflict of interest information to lawyers and others
- Conduct research using third-party business resources
- Maintain knowledge of professional conduct rules and client relationship considerations
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
- Contribute to department work product through effective communication and collaboration
- Work overtime as needed and approved, including weekends and holidays
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related experience, preferably in a law firm setting
- Professional demeanor and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to exercise discretion and good judgment
- Proficiency with Outlook and familiarity with legal documents preferred
Education:
- College education and work experience preferred
Salary Range:
- $40,000 - $55,000

As a national law firm, Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is seeking a highly qualified Risk Management Conflict Clerk with 1-2 years of experience. This full-time position offers flexible options to work remotely, hybrid, or onsite. The ideal candidate will have experience in a medium to large law firm setting, with preference given to those with paralegal or law clerk experience.
Responsibilities of the Risk Management Conflict Clerk include conducting conflict of interest searches, handling matter intake, analyzing conflicts reports, and communicating conflict of interest information to attorneys and other parties. The successful candidate will also be responsible for conducting research using third-party business resources, staying updated on professional conduct rules and client relationship considerations, and participating in special projects as assigned. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential in contributing to the department's work product.
To be considered, candidates must have 1-2 years of related experience, with preference given to those with direct conflicts experience in a law firm. A professional demeanor, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are also required. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and time management skills, as well as the ability to exercise discretion and good judgment. Proficiency with Outlook and familiarity with legal documents are preferred.
