Job Overview
As a Life Sciences Transactions Associate at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., you will have the opportunity to work with a global team of lawyers representing life sciences companies. This role requires a minimum of four (4) years of experience in drafting and negotiating pharma and biotech collaborations and licensing deals, as well as other operational agreements for life sciences companies. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and cultures. This role also involves client-facing responsibilities and managing client relationships with partners, so prior experience in these areas is preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Draft and negotiate pharma and biotech collaborations and licensing deals for life sciences companies
- Review and analyze contracts and agreements for accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations
- Communicate with clients and partners to understand their needs and provide legal advice and guidance
- Collaborate with diverse teams and cultures to provide comprehensive legal services to clients
- Manage client relationships with partners and other stakeholders
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry developments related to life sciences transactions
Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience representing life sciences companies in transactions
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission and good standing in the state's Bar in which the office is located
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills
- Ability and willingness to work collaboratively with diverse teams and cultures
- Prior client-facing experience and managing client relationships with partners is preferred
Compensation and Benefits

- Base compensation of $310-420K annually when located in an office in the state of New York, California, Illinois, or Washington DC
- Individual pay within the range is determined by work location, experience, skills, and education
