Overview of the Position:

The Compliance Officer at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is responsible for ensuring the Company's compliance with applicable bank laws and regulations. This includes developing and maintaining compliance policies and procedures, providing training to staff, conducting compliance assessments, and staying updated on regulatory changes. The Compliance Officer also serves as the Company's Privacy Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain compliance policies and procedures
- Provide compliance training to staff, including the Board of Directors
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the Compliance Program and make necessary revisions
- Prepare an annual Compliance Risk Assessment and present it to the Bank's governance structure
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures and compliance with laws and regulations
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and potential liabilities
- Implement regulatory changes and assist affected departments in compliance
- Conduct Compliance Committee meetings and report to the Bank's governance structure
- Review advertisements and website pages for compliance
- Serve as the Bank's regulatory liaison for CRA and consumer compliance-related examinations and audits
- Oversee the Identity Theft Red Flags Prevention Program
- Support the CRA and HMDA functions
- Provide compliance support to all business areas
- Manage and lead the CRA/HMDA Specialist and Risk & Compliance Specialist

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and knowledge of banking regulations
- Legal background and/or JD degree required
- Minimum five years' experience as a bank Compliance Officer
- Deep CRA and SBA lending background
- CRCM designation is desirable
- Knowledge of all applicable State and Federal compliance regulations and laws
- Familiarity with compliance software and basic PC skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Proactive, self-motivated, and self-starter
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the Company
- High sense of integrity and personal ethics
- Adherence to all applicable Policies and Procedures

Salary Information:

The salary for this position ranges from $150,000 to $185,000.
