**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is currently seeking an experienced Associate Counsel to join their team in defending lawsuits filed in Georgia courts and other first party insurance defense. This position is with **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. Staff Counsel, located in Atlanta, GA. As an Associate Counsel, you will be responsible for researching laws, preparing legal briefs, opinions, and memoranda, as well as providing opinions on liability, damages, and value as requested by the Claims Department. Other responsibilities include preparing and handling pleadings, motions, and discovery, to include depositions and examinations under oath, and defending matters assigned.
Experience Information:
- 2-6+ years of litigation experience in insurance defense or personal injury
- Juris Doctor degree is required
- Must be licensed in good standing to practice law in Georgia
- Must be able to travel as required
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to learn and apply technical and procedural information
