Job Title: Real Estate Paralegal
Salary Range: $125,000 - $150,000 per year
Experience Required: 5+ years of paralegal experience in commercial real estate and/or commercial real estate lending

We are currently seeking a Real Estate Paralegal to join our team in the Century City office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review title exception documents, identify issues, and discuss with assigned attorney
- Prepare title review summaries and objection letters for acquisitions
- Request and negotiate pro forma title insurance policies
- Prepare estoppel certificates and SNDAs (Subordination, Non-Disturbance, and Attornment agreements)
- Review surveys and coordinate revisions with surveyors
- Order and review zoning reports and coordinate revisions with zoning consultant
- Prepare settlement statements with title companies and clients
- Review organizational documents and obtain certified copies
- Prepare consents and resolutions
- File organizational documents with secretaries of state
- Coordinate with search companies for independent directors, agents for service of process, etc.
- File and register entities in various states and prepare organizational documents
- Review loan and purchase and sale transaction documents for missing information
- Obtain missing information from clients
- Order and review judgment and lien searches
- Complete documents and assemble exhibits for closing
- Prepare signature page documents and supervise signing parties
- Coordinate with title companies for post-closing matters
- Prepare closing binders
- Update closing checklists and participate in checklist calls
- Download loan documents and other due diligence from client websites
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of paralegal experience, with a focus on commercial real estate and/or commercial real estate lending
- Must satisfy at least one of the California statutory paralegal classification requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications
- Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimum supervision

Compensation:

The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $125,000 - $150,000 per year, with actual salary depending on relevant experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and location. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on internal and external factors.
