This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The law firm specializes in Workers' Compensation Defense in Orange County and is looking for someone with at least 3 years of experience in this field.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conducting depositions of claimants, physicians, medical experts, and other parties involved in Workers' Compensation cases
- Staying up-to-date with changes and developments in Workers' Compensation laws
- Drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and opinions
- Litigating cases before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB)
- Utilizing strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and public speaking skills
- Negotiating and effectively communicating verbally and in writing
- Adapting to new situations and paying attention to detail
- Must have a Juris Doctor (JD) degree
Job Type and Schedule:
This is a full-time position with a hybrid work schedule, allowing for both office and remote work. The law firm operates Monday through Friday with a flexible schedule.
