Associate Attorney The candidate will do research and analyze case law, statutes and regulations, particularly on insurance coverage and extra-contractual issues. Handle depositions of parties, witnesses, treating physicians and experts. Draft and argue routine and substantive motions. Attend court hearings in several different counties and courthouses and by Zoom. Prepare status and trial strategy reports for clients. Handle all aspects of discovery, including drafting and answering interrogatories, production requests, and requests to admit. Demonstrates a thorough grasp of the issues and strategies in trial files. Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda of law. Should have 3+ years of experience in complex liability. Experience in the following practice areas insurance, personal injury, premises and product liability is preferred. Good standing with the Missouri Bar is required. Illinois Bar is preferred. Should have strong writing skills. Excellent academic credentials are needed. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written is needed.
