Associate General Counsel - Remote:

Salary Information: $124,500 - $239,400 annually
Job Title: Associate General Counsel
Experience: 5+ years of legal experience

Primary Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel on various matters related to **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s Employer & Individual segment
- Interpret legal and regulatory requirements at the federal and state level and advocate for changes if necessary
- Collaborate on new product and market entrances
- Support sales and account management initiatives
- Review RFPs for potential new or renewal customers
- Draft and negotiate contracts
- Handle regulatory matters and customer issues
- Assist with litigation management, including pre-litigation matters
- Address any antitrust issues

Required Qualifications:

- Juris Doctorate degree
- Current license to practice law in at least one US jurisdiction
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Experience with regulatory agencies and state insurance regulations
- Knowledge of US and state contract, corporate healthcare, and regulatory law
- Understanding of health insurance and medical policy development
- Ability to collaborate in a matrixed business and legal environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to determine appropriate legal course of action
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in the vision care industry
- Understanding of health insurance and/or managed care industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
