Job description:

- Act as a key point of contact for clients and colleagues

Your key responsibilities:
- Review staff work product, coordinate with clients and internal team members, manage deadlines, and track engagement economics
- Identify and resolve tax technical issues
- Share insights to improve processes and efficiency
- Prioritize and handle a wide range of responsibilities
Skills and attributes for success:
- Provide domestic federal tax advice tailored to client needs
- Stay up-to-date with trends and changes to legislation
- Supervise high-performing teams and share leading-practices
- Build relationships internally and externally
- Prepare practical recommendations for complex tax issues
To qualify for the role you must have:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or graduate degree in Tax or Law
- Approximately three years of related work experience
- Progress toward or completion of valid CPA certification or licensed attorney status
- Background in tax compliance and accounting for income tax
- Broad understanding of US income taxation
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Access, and data mining tools
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects
- Confidence to engage and integrate with clients' teams
- Willingness to travel as needed and work in a balanced hybrid environment
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Proven record in a professional services environment
- Experience in coaching and mentoring junior colleagues
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Adaptability to work with internal and client team members
