This firm is often at the top of the list of prominent Boston law firms. Large and growing, these lawyers are well-connected throughout the Boston area, and are looking to increase the reach of their influence. With beautiful offices (that seem to go on and on...) the lawyers here are generally quite happy with their practice. Why? At the associate level, lawyers are given a bit more responsibility than your average law firm lawyer, and depending on the practice group, given quite solid training and structured mentoring. Although the partners are increasingly conscious of the billable hours of their associates, they are generally accessible. In particular, several of the litigation partners bring in high level litigation work and remain very involved throughout to monitor and guide the associates participation.
Paralegal, In-House Employment Law The candidate will work with CTO & AGCE to develop employment letter templates and coordinate firm's compliance with all employment agreements. Draft initial employment agreements based on templates. Keep track of status and key information related to employment agreements and independently coordinate with members of the Talent Department and other departments to share information and facilitate processes. Work with CTO & AGCE to manage contract approval and management process for the Talent Department. Work with Talent Department leaders on development and review of policies. Keep CTO & AGCE and Talent Department leaders informed with respect to relevant employment law changes in the firm's US states of operation. Communicate clearly & concisely both in writing and verbally, interact effectively and professionally with in-house counsel and professional staff. BA/BS degree is required. Should have 3-5 years of experience. Paralegal Certificate or qualifying work experience is required.
