This large international New York law firm founded in 1934 has established a full-service presence. Clients include large corporations and individuals as well as small and medium-sized businesses. The firm represents a wide range of industrial, financial and commercial enterprises, both publicly and privately held. Firm lawyers represent clients in every state as well as numerous foreign jurisdictions. The firm is organized by legal specialization: corporate, e-commerce, employee benefits, estate planning, government and regulatory affairs, health law, intellectual property, international, litigation and tax. Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal The candidate will organize, index and maintain case files. Assist with the preparation and drafting of various legal documents including transmittal letters, subpoenas and case summaries for attorney review. Perform cite checking. Gather case related materials including contracts, witness and expert files, and exhibits. File documents with federal and state courts, arbitration and dispute resolution bodies, and government agencies. Maintain departmental docketing calendar to ensure timely filings. Prepare trial work spaces, including coordinating with IT and outside vendors regarding war room equipment. Provide administrative trial support, including maintaining exhibit lists and filing court documents, Manage large portfolio of cases and track deadlines. Should have Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate, preferred or the equivalent job experience. Should have 4+ years of related work experience. Experience with the ITC, PTAB and Federal Circuit is preferred. Trial experience is preferred.
