Summary:

- Salary range: $80,000 - $125,000 (depending on qualifications, experience, skills, and geography)

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics (CPA certification, Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred)
- Experience: 3+ years in tax, public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting/professional services (prior supervisory experience and industry expertise preferred)
- Responsibilities:
- Tax compliance (ensuring clients comply with applicable authorities and minimizing tax burdens)
- Research (identifying and analyzing tax issues)
- ASC 740-10 (FAS 109 and FIN 48) Tax Accruals (applying Firm policies and preparing workpapers)
- Tax consulting (recommending and implementing methods to reduce tax liability)
- Strategy development (introducing new ideas to benefit clients and the company)
- Other duties as required
- Supervisory responsibilities: May supervise and manage Core Tax Services Associates, provide feedback, and act as a mentor
- Qualifications, knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Statistics (CPA certification, Masters in Accountancy or Taxation preferred)
- Experience: 3+ years in tax, public accounting, private industry accounting, or consulting/professional services (prior supervisory experience and industry expertise preferred)
- License/certifications: CPA certification, Attorney (admitted to practice in a . jurisdiction), or Internal Revenue Service Enrolled Agent (preferred)
- Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and tax research databases/software
- Other: Strong communication skills, ability to follow instructions, delegate work, and work well in a team environment
