Law Firm Engineer - iManage
Salary: $108,000 - $162,000/year
Experience: 6+ years
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day engineering, security, design, and support of iManage Document Management Systems and related applications
- Write scripts/code/workflows to automate iManage platform
- Troubleshoot issues and provide level III support escalation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of data initiatives
- Work with Senior Enterprise Applications Architect to drive use and automation of iManage cloud platform
- Possess working knowledge of Document Management Platform and its integrations
- Work with Quality Assurance team and assist with testing efforts
- Have understanding of AI Technologies and their interaction with DMS and other firm technology systems
- Collaborate with Global Information Technology Teams to integrate AI systems, document tools, and communication platforms with iManage cloud platforms
- Work with project managers and business analysts to understand requirements and implement solutions
- Serve as Lead in implementing enterprise initiatives and complex 3rd party applications
- Participate in and manage requirements gathering process
- Provide technical guidance and coaching/mentoring to lower-level engineers
Qualifications:
- . in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Ability to multi-task, coach and mentor lower-level engineers, and work under pressure
- Excellent communication skills
- Minimum of 6+ years of demonstrated experience with iManage systems/platforms
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience working for a professional service organization
- Proven expertise in working on large-scale projects, ideally in legal technology or highly regulated industries
- Experienced in solutions that comply with global data handling and regulatory standards, including legal-specific standards
- Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud platform tools and document management platforms
- Minimum of 6+ years of demonstrated application support and administration or related experience
- Minimum of 3+ years working with PowerShell / PowerAutomate or similar scripting language/workflow tool
- Ability to write technical documentation and training materials
Preferred Skills:
- Deep knowledge of legal industry, specifically Document Management Systems and other legal technology systems
- Knowledge of a wide range of cloud technologies, preferably in the Microsoft/Azure stack
- Advanced knowledge of KCS methodology
- Possesses applicable iManage Cloud Systems certifications
- Experience understanding business workflow and offering solutions for process automation or optimization

- Flexibility to work nights and weekends when needed
- Ability to present ideas and solutions to groups
- Ability to work on a team with members in different offices/time zones
- Ability to travel as required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other firm applications
- Ability to work in an office setting or remote location
- Manual dexterity required for typing, reaching, and lifting
- Capability to work at a fast pace with unscheduled interruptions
- Stay updated on technologies to improve configurations and troubleshoot issues
- Mobility within the office
- Ability to perform job functions in an office setting or suitable remote working location
