- Salary range for this position in California is $149,000 to $174,000 per year

This is a unique opportunity to partner with the local Office Managing Partner(s) and oversee the day-to-day operations of our office while fostering positive relationships with our attorneys and team members. We are looking for an experienced Office Administrator with a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a professional office environment, preferably in the legal or other professional services industry.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all local functions and services in support of our attorneys in Orange County. This includes facility maintenance and operations, hiring and training of practice and operations support, event and function planning, accounting and budgeting, and managing vendor relationships and payments. You will also work closely with various departments within the Firm, including Talent Management, Human Resources, Finance, IT, Knowledge Management, Business Development, Security, and Practice Economics.

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent administrative and organizational skills, with a proven ability to produce results and meet deadlines. You should also have the ability to interact and communicate with all levels of professionals, management, and professional staff, and demonstrate the ability to elicit cooperation, teamwork, and service in a fast-paced environment. A fundamental knowledge and experience managing operational departments such as marketing, finance, human resources, technology, and facilities is also required.

We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree in human resource management or a related field, with appropriate management experience. However, substantial and relevant work experience may be substituted. CLM, SHRM-CP, SCP, and/or PHR certification is preferred, but not required. You must also be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe, with experience in NetDocuments preferred.

This is an onsite position, and you will be required to work physically in the office Monday-Friday, with some flexibility. However, after-hours and weekend work will be required on occasion as the workload requires, and long hours are expected occasionally. You may also be required to travel up to 10% for meetings, retreats, and conferences.
