Job Summary:
The Bank Regulatory and Deposits Legal team at **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. is seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable deposits attorney to join their team as a Vice President. This role will be based in the firm's New York office and will focus on providing legal and regulatory support for the firm's bank deposit activities, with a particular focus on the intersection between the . bank and broker dealer, including the Private Wealth Management business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial law and critical thinking skills, and will be able to work independently and collaboratively with stakeholders throughout the firm.

Responsibilities:
- Provide legal, regulatory, reputational, and transactional advice to deposit-taking businesses on existing and new products and services.
- Support management of the firm's . bank subsidiary in understanding and meeting regulatory obligations.
- Draft customer agreements and disclosures for deposit products.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and market developments and engage in advocacy on proposed rules and engage with trade associations.
- Work with businesses and support functions to develop policies, procedures, and controls.
- Coordinate with Legal counterparts that cover the firm's Private Wealth Management business.

Qualifications:
- JD admitted to practice law.
- 7+ years of experience at a law firm or in-house at a financial institution.
- Experience in private or consumer banking or wealth management products strongly preferred.
- Ability to work proactively and independently, collaborate effectively with stakeholders throughout the firm, and manage external counsel.
- Excellent judgment and ability to assess risk.

Salary Range:
The expected base salary for this position is $170,000 - $270,000 in New York, New York, United States. In addition, employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus at the end of the fiscal year.
