Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney The candidate will independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end. Represent clients in a wide range of civil defense litigation claims. Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects. Regularly handle court appearances and conduct depositions. Communicate with clients and provide status reports. Should have a JD from an accredited law school. CPA or BA or BS degree in Accounting is preferred. Should have 3+ years of defense/commercial litigation experience. Experience with accounting practices, public accounting, and/or CPA firms is preferred. Must be admitted to practice in New York. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Caseware, Pro SystemsFX, and various other accounting-based software is needed. Knowledge of electronic digital documentation and e-discovery matters is needed. Proficiency in all virtual conference software is required.
