Job Responsibilities:
- Actively manage negotiation and litigation cases
- Maintain knowledge of assigned cases
- Manage files and documents
- Adjust to fast-paced work environment
- Multi-task and prioritize assignments
- Proactively manage caseload
- Meet court and client deadlines
- Schedule and prepare attorneys for meetings, depositions, and hearings
- Handle discovery drafting and production
- Assist with trial preparation
- Act as a liaison between attorneys, courts, and clients
- Familiarity with MDEC/E-Filing
- Experience with case management software is a plus
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal in family law
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software
- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certification preferred
