Litigation Paralegal The candidate will case management from inception through trial. Anticipate case management needs, maintain case momentum. Draft and cite check pleadings, motions and other legal submissions. Prepare, analyze and submit discovery requests and responses. Command the docket with strong knowledge of federal and state court rules. Communicate with fact and expert witnesses during all phases of litigation and in preparation for trial. Prepare trial exhibits, witness files, testimony designation, exhibit binders, pre-trial presentation software. Assist with preparation for interviews, depositions, hearings, trials and/or client meetings. Command of Microsoft Office products, Excel a plus. Proofread and enhance work product. Organize and manage electronic and paper files. Perform research (Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, SEC/EDGAR and other media and financial services sites, and/or other court-related websites for case law, statutes, articles, books, etc.). Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate is required. Should have 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal. Commercial and tort litigation experience highly preferred. Should preferably have 1+ years of Microsoft Office experience.
