Paralegal Duties: Support attorneys specializing in clergy abuse cases and their caseload of 150+. Maintain and organize files. Interact with clients regarding sensitive topics. Adhere to deadlines. Receive and make telephone calls with clients and opposing counsel. Organize own work, set priorities, and meet critical deadlines. Responding to written discovery.

Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Paralegal Certificate/Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred. 6+ years experience as a paralegal. Experience ordering records, reviewing for privacy concerns. Detailed client work with sensitive populations. Understanding of California discovery law. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Thorough knowledge of entire Microsoft suite (including Word and Excel) and Adobe Pro. Work independently, anticipate needs, exercise empathy, and demonstrate professionalism. Must deliver excellent work and superior service to the attorney and clients alike. Must have strong organizational and time management skills, communicate effectively, and be flexible as demands and priorities change.
