Seeking a Labor, Litigation, And Policy Attorney to join Public Works practice group, to work on competitive bidding, fair contracting, and prevailing wage matters, as well as legislative initiatives working with construction industry unions. This position involves significant case-handling responsibilities, contract negotiation, legislative drafting, client counseling, and litigation practice addressing issues concerning publicly funded construction projects. There will also be opportunities to conduct arbitrations and appear before administrative agencies and negotiate Project Labor Agreements (PLA). Must possess exemplary research, writing and analytical skills. Experience with public works, the building trades, or administrative law is helpful but not required. Admission to the California bar is required. Current 3Ls, recent law graduates, and experienced attorneys will be considered.
