H2: Job Summary
The Senior Manager / Staff Counsel, Compliance Investigations at Walgreens is responsible for managing and conducting investigations. This role reports to the Director of Compliance Investigations.
H2: Job Responsibilities
- Manage and conduct investigations under the direction of the Director, Compliance Investigations
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to conduct and manage investigations and support Compliance initiatives
- Identify opportunities to improve cross-functional relationships and investigations and compliance processes
- Conduct strategic analysis of investigation process and identify opportunities for improvement
- Coordinate with Compliance Monitoring and Analytics team to review investigation data and support Legal and Compliance objectives
- Provide training and support to Investigation Managers
- Develop and mentor Compliance Analysts through on-boarding, training and development opportunities, and performance management processes
- Ensure team is appropriately staffed and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace

H2: Salary Information
The salary for this position ranges from $115,400 to $196,200 per year, plus bonuses, depending on experience, seniority, geographic location, and other factors permitted by law. To review benefits, please visit .
H2: Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of experience in Compliance OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 7 years of experience in Compliance
- Experience conducting internal investigations
- At least 2 years of experience contributing to financial decisions in the workplace
- At least 2 years of direct leadership, indirect leadership, and/or cross-functional team leadership
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes
H2: Preferred Qualifications
- Prior Legal or Compliance experience providing counsel and recommendations to executives and management
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and at least 3 years of post-bar attorney legal work experience
- Required licensure to practice law in at least one state or the District of Columbia
- Experience evaluating information for compliance with standards, laws, and regulations
- Excellent analytical abilities and written communication skills
