Salary: $91,000 - $125,000 (depending on experience)

Overview:
- Lathrop GPM, one of the nation's leading law firms, is seeking a Senior Intake Manager for our Minneapolis or Kansas City location.
- This role is responsible for overseeing the delivery of department services and providing strategic direction for the Intake team.
- The Senior Intake Manager will be accountable for managing the firmwide new business intake process, ensuring efficient and accurate operations, and leading the Intake team.

Responsibilities:
- Provide effective leadership to the Intake team by coaching, counseling, and motivating employees to achieve high levels of productivity and job satisfaction.
- Oversee Intake team members and their responsibilities, ensuring requests are processed within agreed upon timeframes and in accordance with department procedures.
- Hire, train, and manage the professional development of department employees.
- Manage performance evaluations and handle disciplinary actions as needed.
- Participate in Intake technology projects to ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain internal training materials and resources.
- Continuously assess and update procedures and systems to reduce errors and minimize potential liability.
- Identify potential risks and make recommendations to minimize them.
- Set strategic goals for the New Business Intake department.
- Provide risk management support to firm management.
- Keep current with relevant ethics opinions and industry trends.
- Manage special projects as requested by other members of the firm.
- Oversee collection and maintenance of correspondence related to the client lifecycle.
- Provide onboarding and new hire training to firm partners.
- Oversee seamless onboarding for lateral partners.
- Complete key business metrics to measure the value of services to the firm.
- Respond to inquiries from firm attorneys and other personnel regarding the new business intake process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (JD a plus).
- Minimum of five years' experience in conflicts or new business intake in a law firm setting.
- Experience leading or managing a team.
- Knowledge of Model Rules of Professional Conduct.
- Experience with Intapp Open preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-oriented environment.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to maintain regular attendance and work regular hours.
