About the Organization:
- Part of the Department of Justice (DOJ) with a mission to promote integrity and efficiency in the bankruptcy system
- 21 regions and 89 field offices nationwide
- Broad administrative, regulatory, and enforcement authorities
- Unique position to address multi-jurisdictional misconduct and systemic fraud and abuse

Job Description:
- Two internship opportunities available: Office of the General Counsel (OGC) and Field Offices
- OGC interns will conduct research, draft and edit legal documents, participate in moot courts, and attend Congressional hearings
- Field office interns will assist attorneys in various tasks related to bankruptcy cases
- Internship may be available for academic credit
- Must be available to work in-person at the USTP headquarters in Washington, DC

Qualifications:
- Rising second or third year law student
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire to work as part of a small team
- Committed to fairness and integrity in the bankruptcy system
- Background or interest in bankruptcy, litigation, administrative law, policy, and legislation
