Paralegal, Litigation Group The candidate will be providing litigation and trial support to the firm's practice groups. Organizing logistics for patent-based trials, maintaining litigation files, summarizing depositions, organizing exhibits, cite checking pleadings, reviewing litigation production documents, and preparing case notebooks, simple pleadings and litigation documents, deposition binders and exhibits. Maintaining and monitoring litigation docket and due dates. Typing and preparing correspondence, memos, forms and other documentation as assigned; copying documents as necessary. Developing and maintaining a working knowledge of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (FRCP) and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure (FRAP). Retrieving and filing information at various government agencies and courts. Preparing monthly client status reports. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Paralegal certificate is a plus. Should have the ability to independently manage workload. Should have independent proofreading abilities. Propensity for highly detailed work is needed.
