Business Development Analyst - Restructuring: Originate and source new business opportunities for global Restructuring practice area and lawyers. Support business development initiatives across the practice, including pitches, proposals, and analysis.

Salary Information: Estimated base salary range of $180,000 to $220,000 for this exempt position.

Responsibilities:

- Develop a system for monitoring and screening potential business opportunities using financial databases such as CapIQ, Bloomberg, and Credit Cloud.
- Analyze corporate structures and determine viability of businesses.
- Conduct in-depth valuation, due diligence, and credit analysis.
- Provide strategic analysis of capital structures and work with partners to evaluate and structure financing solutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, prospective clients, and financial advisors.
- Attend meetings and prepare reports and analyses.
- Collaborate with Business Development and Knowledge Management teams to prepare marketing and transaction proposals.
- Assist with projects and initiatives as assigned by Chief Business Development Officers and Director of Strategic Intelligence.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or other quantitative field required.

Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of work experience in corporate restructuring, investment or commercial banking, consulting, or financial/accounting positions, with at least 4 years of direct restructuring experience.
- In-depth knowledge of high yield, stressed, distressed, and special situations opportunities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with multiple levels and departments.
- Strong track record in financial analysis and origination of new business.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to identify and solve problems.
- Proficiency in MS Office, financial databases, and project management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility and ability to make decisions under pressure.
