Overview:
- Seeking a mid-level employment litigation associate with 4+ years of experience to join the Phoenix office of Fisher Phillips
- The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings, arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions
- Preference for candidates with experience in employment and/or restrictive covenants/trade secrets law, but those with strong litigation experience and an interest in employment law will also be considered
- Must have excellent academic credentials, strong writing and analytical skills, and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Admission to Arizona Bar and JD from ABA accredited law school required
Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings
- Argue motions
- Take and defend depositions
- Handle ESI discovery
- Conduct legal research and write briefs and memos
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Admission to Arizona Bar and JD from ABA accredited law school
- Strong writing and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
