Summary:
Wealth Advisor III is responsible for developing and deepening client relationships through high-level client service and providing the full suite of Truist Wealth solutions. This role requires an individual with a strong external network and a proven track record in acquiring new clients. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of personal financial planning and advisory concepts and be able to provide integrated solutions to high net worth individuals.
Salary Information:
- Bachelor's degree required
- FINRA licensing including Series 7, Series 66, and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam
- 8+ years of sales and client management experience in Wealth Management
- Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients
- Advanced credit knowledge with proven experience in complex credit deals
- Proficiency in deposit, credit, and investment products
- Strong sales and relationship management skills
- Experience in a goal-based, results-driven sales environment
- Ability to thrive in a team-based approach
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- SAFE Mortgage Licensing Act compliant within 30 days of employment
- Preferred qualifications include CFP, CTFA, CFA, CPA, JD, or MBA
- Completion or enrollment in certification programs such as CFA, CFP, CPWA, or CPA
- 5+ years of sales and client management experience in Wealth Management
- Graduate of a leadership or management development program

Essential Functions:
- Meet revenue growth, profitability, and client retention goals
- Acquire new clients through business development and expanding services
- Utilize external network and firm's reputation in the community
- Be the expert level "market moving" advisor
- Focus on targeted prospecting and developing relationships with external referral sources
- Work effectively with various specialists and partners to support client service and business development efforts
- Use advanced credit knowledge to lead conversations and provide advice to clients and prospects
- Partner with Truist product specialists to deliver solutions to clients' financial needs
- Thrive in a team-based approach to deliver the full suite of Truist Wealth solutions
- Act as a culture champion aligned with Truist's Purpose, Mission, and Values
- Establish and maintain mutually beneficial business relationships with internal and external centers of influence
- Stay updated on changing economic, legal, financial planning, and investment trends
- Serve as a personal financial planning/advisory resource for clients, their attorneys, and CPAs

- Use sound judgment on expense and operational efficiency
