Introduction:

**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a leading law firm, is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise Applications Engineer to join our Information Services Department. This individual will be responsible for the daily monitoring, support, and maintenance of our existing enterprise-wide applications, as well as leading projects related to updating or installing new applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of document management, timekeeping, law firm accounting and billing systems, litigation support, ethical walls, and security, as well as experience with infrastructure, servers, operating systems, and network communications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor the health of enterprise-wide applications, including error logs, server performance, and memory and processor usage.
- Resolve and respond to Help Desk tickets related to enterprise-wide applications, noting trends and performing troubleshooting.
- Keep current on patches and releases for enterprise-wide applications, recommending updates to install.
- Lead testing of new software or new versions of software, creating and maintaining test environments and scripts.
- Act as Project Lead for new applications or updates, creating project plans and monitoring deadlines and team performance.
- Create and maintain production environments for enterprise-wide applications, including server and desktop specifications, client software packaging, and installations.
- Interface with vendors regarding problems, bug fixes, and new software versions.

Additional Functions:

- Maintain a high level of knowledge in all enterprise-wide applications through release notes, documentation, and vendor dialogue.
- Assist, teach, and mentor other team members.
- Perform desktop applications packaging, testing, and deployment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of five years of extensive experience managing enterprise-wide applications, preferably in a law firm.
- Deep knowledge of document management, timekeeping, law firm accounting and billing systems, litigation support, ethical walls, and security.
- Strong technical skills in infrastructure, servers, operating systems, and network communications.
- Proficient knowledge of desktop operating systems, software, and software packaging practices.
- Knowledge of SQL server and SQL scripting.
- Certification in iManage preferred.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

This is a full-time position in a clerical, office setting. The employee will use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The physical requirements for this job are sedentary work, with occasional walking and standing.

Visual Acuity:

Close visual acuity is required for activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, and viewing a computer terminal.
