Description:
- TRLA is seeking licensed attorneys and recent law school graduates to join their team of dedicated litigators in providing justice to marginalized communities in Texas.
- With around 200 lawyers and 40+ practice areas, TRLA is not afraid to take on tough fights.
- Attorneys can expect to work in border cities and rural areas, such as Del Rio, Eagle Pass, and Brownsville, where the demand for legal services is high.

Job Responsibilities:
- Representing low-income clients in a variety of legal matters, such as tenant defense, disability rights, and consumer protection.
- Bringing creative and complex litigation to state and federal court.
- Providing services to individual clients.
- Advocating for systemic change in areas such as education, public benefits, and employment.
- Working in border cities and rural areas where the demand for legal services is high.

Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary range of $64,355–$87,565+ per year, depending on experience.
- Robust benefits package, including law school loan repayment assistance, generous paid leave, healthcare insurance, retirement plan, and stipends for training and travel.
- Incentives for Spanish language proficiency.
- 3Ls are placed on salary the first week of July and are reimbursed for reasonable costs associated with the bar exam.

Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice law in Texas, able to waive in, or pass the next available bar exam (UBE state requiring a 270 score).
- Demonstrated interest in providing justice to marginalized communities.
- Strong academic credentials.
- Fluency in Spanish is preferred.
- Willingness to live and work in areas of greatest need.
