Business Development:
Responsible for strategy and growth of the firm’s services to High Net Worth, including identifying market trends, anticipating opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies/plans
Build strong relationships and interact regularly with clients, internal client partners and up-and-coming talent, external industry groups, Centers of Influence, industry Market Leaders in adjacent sectors, and Service Line Leaders – coordinating to align skills with market trends and drive strategic technical leadership hires
Establish sales and revenue goals, and actively manage a strategic business plan and opportunity pipeline that ensures these goals are met
Client Experience:
Serve and build relationships with clients, monitoring client service and value proposition, acting as trusted advisor to ensure we are a premium provider providing quality work, open communication, sound advice, and proactive service
Develop a comprehensive approach to meet the needs of High Net Worth clients, including leadership around High Net Worth infrastructure with a focus on scaling the practice and demonstrating intellectual curiosity to ensure client needs are met
Continuously assess each client’s needs as their goals and objectives evolve, adapting our client service and strategies
Leadership, Mentorship & Staff Development:
Respect and celebrate the value of each of the stories, backgrounds, perspectives, and ideas of each of our team members, building meaningful relationships with all those you interact with
Be growth oriented and work toward building a leveraged model, when appropriate
Provide mentoring and motivation to the team, including developing young leaders via active contribution to training and development
Exhibit forward thinking, innovation, and delivering an exceptional work product
Technical:
Perform partner level compliance review and tax return supervision
Serve as a professional role model, in the role of tax advisor to many of the firm’s most valued clients
Serve as a go-to resource for technical questions or knowledge
Who You Are
Required:
Bachelor’s degree; CPA or JD
12+ years of progressive experience within tax, preferably in a public accounting firm and including leadership experience with a consistent record of accomplishment, accountability, and history of execution against budget and strategic initiatives
3+ years Partner level or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge and a concentration in High Net Worth Tax
