Job Title: Healthcare Regulatory Attorney

Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced Healthcare Regulatory Attorney for its office in Vienna, VA. This position will involve providing comprehensive legal counsel to healthcare providers, specialty practices, and other professionals in the healthcare sector. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations and be adept at guiding clients through compliance and risk management.

Duties:

• Provide expert regulatory counsel to healthcare providers and specialty practices.
• Ensure clients' compliance with federal and state healthcare laws, including HIPAA, Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, and other pertinent regulations.
• Advise clients on regulatory matters, compliance, and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with other legal professionals on multidisciplinary issues.
• Assist clients with healthcare transactions, compliance audits, and regulatory investigations.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in healthcare regulatory law.
• Demonstrated ability to handle complex healthcare transactions, audits, and investigations.
• Strong understanding of the regulatory environment for healthcare providers, including federal and state healthcare laws.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Bar membership in Virginia or the ability to obtain it.

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute.
• Strong familiarity with regulatory bodies such as HHS, CMS, and state healthcare agencies.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively across practice areas on complex legal matters.
