Job Title: Contracts Counsel

Summary:

Thermo Fisher Scientific is currently seeking a Contracts Counsel to join their Legal team in the Laboratory Products Group (LPG). This role will provide support to the Laboratory Chemicals Division, Laboratory Equipment Division, and Laboratory Plastics Essentials businesses in the US and Europe. The Contracts Counsel will be responsible for drafting and negotiating agreements with various companies, ensuring compliance with regulations and laws, and supporting strategic legal initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a . degree and be a licensed attorney in the United States with at least 4 years of experience in commercial contracts. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $110K-$140K.

Responsibilities:

- Draft and negotiate agreements with pharmaceutical, chemical, academic, research, industrial, and manufacturing companies
- Develop a compliance program in alignment with company policies and laws
- Provide guidance to employees on laws and policies related to business planning and activities
- Implement legal training programs for business matters and contractual obligations
- Collaborate with business teams on commercial and quality matters
- Support implementation of strategic legal initiatives at various sites

Requirements:

- . degree or equivalent experience and admission to a state bar
- At least 4 years of legal experience in commercial contracts
- Knowledge of contracts law, preferably in the life sciences industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle problems of diverse scope and complexity
