Civil Division interns will engage in legal research, writing, and courtroom work under the direction of experienced trial and appellate lawyers. Not necessarily. Many housing options are within walking, bus, or bicycling distance from the office. Some interns have brought bicycles from home or purchased them on Craigslist. Others have bought older cars upon arrival and resold them at the end of the summer.
