Duties and Responsibilities
• Remain current on issues of international and commercial trade compliance law
• Draft memoranda, legal opinions, and other client-related documents
• Advise on cross-border banking and finance projects
• Liaise with the Firm's clients regarding complex cross-border transactions and projects
• Conduct research on specific legal issues, especially those applicable to our international clients in the area of expertise
• Consult with . and international clients, principals, associates, and staff
• Attend meetings and conferences related to international and commercial trade compliance law
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (., accounting, finance, business)

• Two months of full-time compensated employment experience focused on . and international tax projects at a law firm with more than 150 attorneys
• Admitted and a member in good standing of the District of Columbia Bar or eligible to waive into the District of Columbia Bar to apply
