Objective:
As a Sector Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's strategy for understanding and developing various sectors. This includes producing insightful content on key sectors of interest, developing models and products to stay informed of market changes, and providing geopolitical insights to aid in business growth.

Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze legal, geopolitical, and economic issues affecting chosen sectors
- Produce detailed and insightful research on market sentiment and trends
- Develop and design information products to enhance understanding of sector business cycles and key metrics
- Support thought leadership initiatives with in-depth research
- Stay informed of industry developments and technological advances that could influence the firm's strategy
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and peers across the business
- Utilize analytical tools to create dynamic reports and dashboards
- Create reports and presentations using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in consultancy, professional services firms, investment banking, corporate strategy departments, or media
- Strong writing skills and ability to summarize complex arguments
- Numerical fluency and ability to present data effectively
- Ability to build and develop relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong technical skills in relevant information products and financial databases
- Experience creating reports using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Proactive and strategic mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
- 5+ years of relevant research experience

Salary and Benefits:
The expected salary range for this position varies based on location and may be modified in the future. In California major markets, the salary range is $77,000 - $140,000, in New York City it is $83,000 - $140,000, and nationally it is $72,000 - $115,000. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus and a comprehensive benefits package with medical, dental, vision, and life insurances, mental well-being benefits, and various other benefits such as parental leave and paid time off.
