Parker Daniels Kibort, LLC is a premier litigation law firm based in Minneapolis, MN. Role Description
We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Business Litigation team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting our attorneys and paralegals, ensuring the smooth operation of our cases and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all administrative tasks related to litigation, including calendaring deadlines, drafting correspondence, and preparing legal documents.
File and serve legal pleadings and other documents in state, federal, and appellate courts, adhering to filing requirements and deadlines.
Manage attorney schedules, including coordinating meetings, depositions, and court appearances.
Maintain and organize client files, case documents, and exhibits using document management systems.
Conduct conflict checks, open new client matters, and manage billing and time entry processes.
Handle incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail, and respond promptly to client inquiries.
Prepare trial binders, deposition summaries, and other case-related materials.
Provide general administrative support such as photocopying, scanning, and transcribing dictations.
Qualifications:
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate is a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant in business litigation or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Familiarity with legal practice management software and e-filing systems (state and federal).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations and meet tight deadlines with professionalism.
