Epstein Becker & Green, a leading law firm, is currently seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Associate to join our Health Care & Life Sciences practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled attorney to join a highly respected and dynamic team in one of our select offices.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably within the life sciences industry. In addition, familiarity with technology transactions, such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements, is highly desired. The candidate should also have experience in evaluating and managing patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios, as well as performing IP due diligence for corporate transactions and handling strategic commercial agreements.

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess strong academic credentials and demonstrate excellent research and writing skills. A Juris Doctorate degree and admission to the USPTO are required. Additionally, admission to practice law in Ohio, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Oregon, or New Jersey is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
• Join a highly respected and dynamic team in one of our select offices
• Provide legal counsel and support for our Health Care & Life Sciences practice
• Handle patent prosecution and technology transactions, such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements
• Evaluate and manage patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios
• Perform IP due diligence for corporate transactions
• Draft and negotiate strategic commercial agreements
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare and review legal documents
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in intellectual property laws and regulations

Qualifications:
• Minimum of two years of experience in patent prosecution, preferably within the life sciences industry
• Familiarity with technology transactions, such as collaborations, licensing, outsourcing, and joint venture agreements
• Experience in evaluating and managing patent, trademark, and copyright portfolios
• Experience in performing IP due diligence for corporate transactions
