- Will report to the Global BSA/AML and Sanctions Officer and work closely with business partners and internal stakeholders
- Responsible for managing a team of compliance professionals, assessing sanctions compliance risk, and implementing appropriate controls
- Acts with urgency and exercises judgement in taking decisive action when necessary
- Thorough understanding of global laws and regulations and their impact on **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.'s business
- May meet with regulators and OFAC staff regarding sanctions regulatory matters
- Develops, enhances, and implements the sanctions program and associated procedures for compliance
- Regularly conducts sanctions training and oversees screening processes
- Identifies and escalates compliance issues, manages client responses and communications
- Conducts risk assessments and recommends changes to policies and procedures
- Trains and mentors analysts, facilitates internal audits, and manages a team of compliance professionals
- Coordinates with AML team and legal colleagues to respond to subpoenas and other regulatory requests
- Applies for and manages OFAC and BIS licenses, prepares and files necessary reports
- Develops metrics and reports for executive leadership
- Hybrid position with alternating remote and office work, expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week
- Requires 5-10% travel
- Must have 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, or 10 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree, or 5 years of work experience with a PhD
- Preferred qualifications include 15 or more years of experience, 12+ years of sanctions compliance experience, and 6+ years of global sanctions compliance leadership and team management experience
- Deep experience designing and implementing sanctions compliance programs and procedures, and knowledge of screening technology and systems
- Ability to work independently without significant oversight or direction
