Job Title: Foreclosure Paralegal
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities for the Foreclosure Paralegal include managing the foreclosure process from referral through conclusion. This involves a variety of tasks such as ordering title searches, obtaining payoffs, preparing deeds, assignments, and letters, and ensuring all activities meet time-sensitive deadlines. The paralegal is also responsible for providing updates and timely responses to clients, ensuring that all client communications are handled professionally and efficiently. Additionally, the paralegal must possess the ability to work independently, manage a heavy workload, and perform well under pressure.
Education and Experience Information:
Candidates for the Foreclosure Paralegal position must have a minimum of 2 years of related foreclosure experience. A broad knowledge of real estate default services is essential. While not mandatory, experience with software systems such as LPS, Caseaware, and Tempo is considered a plus. The ideal candidate should possess superior organizational, research, and writing skills, and be detail-oriented. Confidence and comfort in phone communications are also important attributes for this role.
