KPMG is currently seeking a Manager to join their Business Tax Services practice.
Responsibilities:
Oversee client portfolios within the alternative investment fund industry (private equity, real estate and/or hedge funds)
Act as the first point of contact for internal and external clients
Manage teams of tax professionals/assistants working on client projects
Assess tax impact of rules and law changes, develop tax arguments, and make recommendations to clients
Facilitate risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and budget management
Deliver high quality tax services to clients
Qualifications:
Minimum of five years of tax experience in the alternative investment industry
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM preferred
Proficient in taxation of partnerships and tiered investment fund structures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
