In this role, the Sr. Legal Specialist will provide global innovation, patent, and trademark paralegal support to the Intellectual Property team. This includes maintaining patent, trademark, and domain records in the IPfolio database, reviewing all incoming correspondence, and assisting with drafting and negotiating agreements. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a . and foreign patent and trademark prosecution paralegal, as well as strong knowledge of IP database system administration.

Job Summary:
The Sr. Legal Specialist in Intellectual Property will provide global paralegal support to the Intellectual Property team at . Huber Corporation. This includes maintaining patent, trademark, and domain records, reviewing correspondence, and assisting with drafting and negotiating agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain patent, trademark, and domain records in IPfolio database and matter management billing system for global multi-client portfolio
- Review incoming correspondence and prepare communications to outside counsel and internal clients regarding IP instructions, deadlines, and status
- Assist with drafting and negotiating non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements, assignments, and consulting agreements
- Support global trademark prosecution efforts by coordinating with businesses to conduct trademark searches and prepare financial analyses
- Provide IP due diligence support for M&A activity
- Provide divestiture support by reviewing and facilitating the transfer of rights for acquired IP
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, with a preferred focus on Legal and business
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a . and foreign patent and trademark prosecution paralegal
- Strong knowledge of IP database system administration
- Experience with trademark search engines, preferably Corsearch
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask and prioritize projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with all levels of management and external partners
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and maturity
