Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, review, code, and tag documents for relevance, confidentiality, and privilege
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents upon request
- Support agency attorneys with discovery and communication to opposing counsel
- Prepare briefs, legal memoranda, and motions
Education and Experience:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree
- At least one (1) year of document review experience in complex litigation matters
- Active . bar license in good standing
- Reside in Virginia, Maryland or Washington, DC
Required Skills:
- Access to high-speed internet
- Proficient in modern technology, especially computers and related remote office equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Critical thinking skills and ability to retain complex work direction
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Additional Requirements:
- Must submit required documents at least 14 days prior to start date
- Work will primarily be performed remotely with occasional in-office work
