Job Responsibilities
Review and coordinate preparation of tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, closely held businesses, trusts, estates, and gifts
Advise clients on a wide range of tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and general transactional activities
Conduct high-level research on complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums to support conclusions
Confirm assignment objectives, scope, and work plan with clients
Identify resource requirements and ensure appropriate assignments for specific roles
Analyze billing and assist with accounts receivable collections
Assist with new business development and recognize tax issues for existing clients
Regularly assess client satisfaction and provide feedback on performance
Mentor and coach staff and senior team members on client engagements and career advancement
Consult with high-net-worth clients and their advisors on income tax planning, trust, estate, and inheritance tax planning
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field
Qualified to practice before the IRS (., JD, CPA, or EA)
Minimum of 4 years' experience in US tax consulting/compliance within public accounting
Minimum of 1 year in a managerial role with client and team member involvement
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Taxation

For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position is $95,000 - $155,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
