Trust, Estate, Probate Attorney The candidate should preferably have 1+ years of experience handling estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters from inception to conclusion, including meeting with clients, developing a plan, and preparing appropriate documents to meet client objectives. Effective, clear, concise, and accurate communication, both oral and written, at an appropriate level to the situation and the client. Ability to focus under pressure and willingness to do what needs to be done. Demonstrate a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and integrity in the handling of personal client information, including adherence to the Rules of Professional Conduct. Strong computer skills with extensive experience with MS Office. Tax experience a plus. Take on and/or assist with an existing caseload including Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Trust and Estate litigation, Probate, Guardianship, and Conservatorship cases. Manage an individual caseload, prioritizing and delegating work. Meet with clients. Meet with potential clients and complete consultations for new case work. Draft Estate Planning Documents. Draft and prepare various legal documents and pleadings. Litigation work including discovery, settlement negotiation, depositions and mediations. Represent clients in court. Perform administrative and management functions related to the firm. Assist in growing the firm through internal practice development and through marketing and networking.
