Responsibilities for Paralegal/Closer
As a Paralegal/Closer at Hankin & Pack, you will be responsible for managing the entire closing process, ensuring that all files are ready and all parties are informed. Your duties will include:
Responding to distribution emails and distinguishing between those that require the Closer's attention and those that can be handled by the Pre-Closer
Communicating with buyers, agents, and lenders regarding closing questions, updates, and figures
Adhering to service level agreements with our clients
Preparing and revising HUD/ALTA documents and balancing them with the lender
Obtaining funding approval from lenders and buyers
Monitoring and assisting the Pre-Closer with file ownership and accountability
Sending final title documents to the title company
Ensuring all requirements on the Commitment are completed before closing
Qualifications for Paralegal/Closer
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
High school diploma
2+ years of experience in real estate closing with a law firm, title company, or lending company
Experience as a Paralegal is a plus
Familiarity with Qualia is preferred
Detail-oriented and organized
Humble and teachable
Strong task management skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
Customer-centric with excellent problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills
Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet programs
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
