LAW CLERK PROGRAM

ATTORNEY GENERAL AGENCIES & DIVISIONS
- Largest and finest law firm in the State of Maryland
- Handles criminal investigations and prosecutions, securities and antitrust actions, environmental enforcement, civil litigation, appellate advocacy, and representation of the State in various legal arenas
- Provides counsel and litigation services for state agencies, boards, commissions, officials, and institutions
- Distinguished history of successfully addressing complex legal issues
- Gives law clerks the opportunity to make a difference in communities across the State

HEALTH INSURANCE AND CONSUMER MEDIATION
- Subdivisions of the Consumer Protection division
- Work to mediate consumer issues with health insurance companies and complaints against Maryland businesses

QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent legal research and writing abilities
- Strong communication and team skills
- Good work ethic and attitude
- Specific schedules determined based on division needs and law clerk's class and extracurricular commitments
- Volunteer law clerks expected to work no less than 15-20 hours per week
- May be eligible for course credit
