A law firm seeks a skilled and motivated Senior Associate Attorney with extensive experience in Family Law to join its team in Beverly Hills, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of litigation experience in family law and a proven ability to manage contested cases with minimal supervision. This full-time position offers a hybrid work setting, providing the flexibility to work remotely while maintaining an active role in a dynamic, high-paced legal practice.

Duties

  • Independently manage a caseload of family law matters, including contested divorces, child custody disputes, and other related legal proceedings.
  • Provide strategic legal counsel and represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and trials.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop case strategies and keep them informed of case progress.
  • Ensure the efficient management of files, deadlines, and court appearances.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to stay updated on legal developments in family law.
  • Assist with mentoring junior associates and guiding case management and legal strategies.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in family law, specifically handling contested family law matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage a full caseload with minimal supervision.
  • Strong litigation experience, including trial preparation and courtroom experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-tech legal environment.
  • Excellent client communication skills and a proactive approach to client relationships.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and emotional matters with professionalism and care.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of California.
